Goshwara designer and President, Sweta Jain, has been working with gemstones since childhood. As a purveyor of stones to the finest jewelry houses globally, the Jains’ only saw fit to have the entire family involved. Sweta looked forward to accompanying her father to the mines of Africa, and learned firsthand the process from mining of the raw material (Rough) to the Manufacturing of the gemstones.
As she matured into a young woman, she became aware of budding interests. However, it was her young love for gemstones that became her calling. She enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology to study jewelry design. She was now inspired by the beautiful gems she once tossed around as a child. “I love the idea of being able to create with gemstones; to mix the colors. When I dress up, I wear jewelry to show how I feel at that moment. My collection reflects that.”
Goshwara has become a powerhouse in luxury goods. The silhouettes created by Sweta coupled with the natural beauty of gemstones, make this brand comparable to none.
