A lifetime longhorn, Ivana met her husband, Minnesota Vikings, Jordan Hicks during their time at The University of Texas. No matter where his career may take them, they keep their roots in the ATX.
"Austin is home,"� Ivana said. "I was born and raised here and still have all of my family here"there's no place like home. It's relaxed, diverse, outdoorsy, has a great food scene and is a dog-loving city. We're huge dog lovers so we fit right in."�
While Austin will always be their off-season home, their home throughout the season is out of their hands. Launching his NFL career with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015, Jordan was then traded to the Arizona Cardinals and just recently, to the Minnesota Vikings. Supporting her husband unconditionally, Ivana has embraced and quickly loved every place they've settled in. A proud believer that they will always end up right where they belong, it's safe to say that they will love Minnesota as well.
"Selflessness, to me, is about being caring, compassionate, and being a helping hand to others without any expectations,"� Ivana said. "It's truly about putting yourself last and thinking about how to best help someone who might need you. It's a true act of kindness!"�
Without any expectations, Ivana embraces every situation she's faced with. Putting her family first in each and every day, her selflessness is as priceless as a diamond. "I try to be intentional with my time as best as I can. The saying 'the days are long but the years are short' couldn't be more true,"� Ivana said. "Celebrating everyday for me is spending time with my family with intentionality. Time is gold and so are those I love most."��
